However, the widow grabs the hold of Ganga and wipes off her’sindoor’ off her forehead. Pishima says to Ganga that it will be an extremely difficult life for her at the moment and she must accept the fact that she is. A young Ganga informs widows that she won’t adhere to any of the traditional school rules established by the social order. What happens if Ganga be able to flee once more?
