The plot of Prema follows the story of the two couples, Peter and Laxmi that live together with their daughter of three years. Although Peter is from a low-income home, Laxmi hails from a wealthy family. If Laxmi as well as Peter suffer fatal injuries due to an accident, the responsibility of their daughter was handed over to the control of Prema (Peter’s sister). The circumstances however cast Prema into a bad image, and this makes Pranay (Laxmi’s sister) to assume responsibility for the girl. Follow the unfolding story through the course of Prema and Pranay independently battle for the right of take possession of the child despite the odds of their families.
