The plot of Prema is about the two couples, Peter and Laxmi and their relationship with their three-year-old daughter. Although Peter is from a low-income home, Laxmi hails from a wealthy family. If Laxmi as well as Peter die through an accident, the responsibility of their daughter was passed to the care of Prema (Peter’s sister). The circumstances however cast Prema in a negative image, and this makes Pranay (Laxmi’s cousin) assume the responsibility for the child. The story will unfold while Prema and Pranay each battle for the right of take possession of the child despite the odds of their families.
