The plot of Prema follows the story of the two couples, Peter and Laxmi that live together with their daughter of 3 years. Although Peter is from a low-income household, Laxmi hails from a wealthy family. If Laxmi as well as Peter die through an accident, the responsibility of their daughter was handed over to the control of Prema (Peter’s sister). However, circumstances put Prema into a bad picture, making Pranay (Laxmi’s cousin) to assume responsibility for the girl. The story will unfold through the story as Prema and Pranay independently battle for the rights to take possession of the child despite the odds of their families.
