The plot of Prema follows the story of the two couples, Peter and Laxmi that live together with their daughter of three years. As Peter comes from a poverty-stricken household, Laxmi hails from a wealthy family. If Laxmi as well as Peter die through an accident, the responsibility of their daughter was passed to the care of Prema (Peter’s sister). The circumstances however cast Prema into a bad picture, making Pranay (Laxmi’s sister) to assume responsibility for the girl. The story will unfold through the story as Prema and Pranay independently struggle for have the child’s possession against the odds of their families.
