The plot of Prema follows the story of the two couples, Peter and Laxmi and their relationship with their daughter of 3 years. As Peter is from a low-income household, Laxmi hails from a wealthy family. If Laxmi as well as Peter suffer fatal injuries through an accident, the responsibility of their daughter was handed over to the control of Prema (Peter’s sister). The circumstances however cast Prema into a bad image, and this makes Pranay (Laxmi’s cousin) assume the responsibility for the child. The story will unfold in the next few minutes through the story as Prema and Pranay independently struggle for the right of have the child’s possession in spite of all odds with the family.
