A aunt from Yash’s family enters the room and attempts to get Yash to fight Aarti. She advises Yash to proceed carefully as she is convinced that Aarti might be able to replace Arpita. Yash declares that Aarti is not in a position to replace Arpita’s. Aarti is not alone in her concerns with Shobha about her relationship to Yash. She says that she did not feel at ease with Yash. Shobha believes that Aarti was insecure with the idea that Yash might claim to be entitled as husband. Shobha attempts to help Aarti know that she has to let go of her past and embrace her present. Aarti says that she can’t remember the wonderful moments she had with Prashant. She insists that she’ll forever remember her marriage to Yash just for his sake. Shobha and Aarti remain stunned by the news when Gayatri declares that the parents of Arpita will conduct the kanyadaan of Aarti’s parents. Aarti attempts to counter but Gayatri is not averse to Aarti’s assertion. After leaving the room Gayatri declares that Yash’s father was the one who decided that the parents of Arpita were going to conduct the kanyadaan of Aarti. She also states that Yash’s father’s decision was his and everybody had to agree with the fact that it was final. Aarti is able to make Shobha acknowledge her obligations to her, and she asks her to stand up for her rights. Shobha is determined to stand up to defend her rights. Aarti arrives at Arpita’s mom’s room, and asks her permission to let Shobha as well as Satyendra to sing her the kanyadaan. Gayatri says to Yash’s father Arpita’s mother will be performing the kanyadaan performed by Aarti. Then, Arpita’s mom as well as Aarti arrive in the room. The mother of Arpita says that Aarti doesn’t want her to go through her Kanyadaan. Gayatri and Yash’s father stunned to hear this.
