Surajpratap chooses to not make a ransom payment to the kidnapper, but to wait for the police to search for Ansh. Gayatri is in agreement with Surajpratap’s choice. Surajpratap does not want to pay the ransom and is trying to convince Yash. Surajpratap warns Yash to inform him that the kidnapper might murder Ansh regardless of receiving the payment, so they need to remain in the area until the police hunt for Ansh. The furious Gayatri is in agreement with Surajpratap and attempts to persuade Yash. Yash becomes angry when Gayatri states that they can’t invest that much for Ansh who is not Yash’s son. In the meantime, Satyendra and Shobha arrive and are able to hear their discussion. Shobha is hurt because she is aware that the Scindia family have not until now accepted Ansh. Surajpratap attempts to calm Satyendra as well as Shobha. Surajpratap says that his family members have accepted Ansh as well as being worried regarding his. Surajpratap says the reason he is not willing to make ransom payments out of the principle. However, he assures that Ansh is safe to return home. The kidnapper contacts Aarti and asks her to explain how they came to police of the kidnapping. The kidnapper threatens to murder Ansh should the Scindia family fails to remove the charge.
